Hi Katie,
Thanks for your excellent question. It's something a lot of guests wonder about, so I'm happy to help.
As you might imagine, parking space at the monorail resorts often fills up quickly with guests who are staying there or are visiting for a meal. Because of that, you aren't allowed to park all day after a breakfast or lunch. During peak times, we've been limited to two hours parking at the
Polynesian Village Resort.
So, if you are going to the Polynesian for breakfast, I suggest parking in the
Magic Kingdom lot as you normally would for a Magic Kingdom visit. From the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can take a path to the Polynesian. It should only take about 10 minutes to walk to the Great Ceremonial Hall, which would be simpler than taking the resort monorail.
When your meal is over, then hop on the monorail for Magic Kingdom and the rest of your magical day.
Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Don't hesitate to come back if we can answer any other planning questions for you as your
Walt Disney World vacation nears. Enjoy!
