staying at POR in March I was told if I requested a pool view for the princess themed rooms I would still be close to a bus stop but after reading reviews I am confused should I request a referred room instead?Traveling with 2 and 6 year old

The bus stops are located within quick and convenient walking distance of the Royal Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside, Mark.  You can expect about a four minute walk at most.  The reason some families opt for a preferred room is that those are closer to the resort hub (lobby, restaurant and food court).  The walk to that area from the Royal Rooms is a bit longer, up to ten minutes, depending upon your pace.  Still, if my girls were young enough to be carried away by the magic of staying in a royal room, I think I'd be inclined to book one.  Having recently toured those rooms, I can assure you that they are indeed most magical.  Good luck with your decision!
