    We are staying at POR, & get MagicBands w/ our package. However, my husband wants to buy a custom MB in place of the free MB. How does this work when syncing all of his passes/ etc.? Do I just not customize his on MDE or will the free MB still be sent?

    Hi Megan!
    I have to tell you that I love my MagicBands and I have way over 30 different MagicBands! Your husband can purchase a custom MagicBand and then link it to his My Disney Experience account. Then he can either use the purchased MagicBand or the MagicBand that comes with your Port Orleans - Riverside Walt Disney World vacation package (or he can switch between them from day to day). As long as both MagicBands are linked to his My Disney Experience account, he should be able to use either to open the door of your Walt Disney World Resort and enter a theme park with a valid ticket linked to his My Disney Experience account. I have found it very easy to link (activate) purchased MagicBands to My Disney Experience. The first thing that you need to do is create a My Disney Experience account online if you do not have one yet. If you already have a My Disney Experience account, then you can sign in. Once you have signed in you can link your reservations and purchases. Next you will have to link your MagicBands by clicking on the select button under MagicBands (you will need the MagicBand numbers to link them). The MagicBand number is located on the back of each MagicBand. You will have to link each extra MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account using this same process. I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way for you and your family!
