Staying at POR 10/19-10/23/ll. Wondering best building to request in Alligator with 6 children under 8. I know there are 4 bus stops. Which way do the busses travel? Trying to minimize time on the bus with children. Can you recommend a building #? Tha

Great resort choice, Karen!  Port Orleans Riverside is beautiful.  During each of my stays there, my family has rented a vehicle so I'm not terribly familiar with bus service.  I'll do my best to answer your question, though.  Unfortunately, there's not really a way to minimize time on the bus because you'll either have to spend that time on the bus en route to or from your destination.  Stops that are the first to pick up are subsequently the last to drop off, so you're going to get stuck on the bus at one point or another.

I want to say that our favorite location at Port Orleans Riverside so far was building 18 for its proximity to the main lobby/food court area.  The trade-off is that the walk to the pool is a bit further.  We tended to spend more time in the food court area than the pool so for us, building 18 was preferable.  I hope that helps!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
