    We are staying at POR in June. Which rooms are the best to stay in? Alligator bayou or the mansions? Which interior do you like best? It's just me and my husband. Thanks

        What a treat - just you and your husband!  Without a doubt, I suggest that the two of you stay in the Mansion area of Port Orleans Riverside.  It really has the feel of a Deluxe resort, but without the deluxe price!  The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are downright romantic.  The interiors are very turn-of-the-century looking and are sooo cozy.  Alligator Bayou is great, but very rustic and not what I would call romantic.  I recently found a great web site dedicated entirely to the Port Orleans Resort - I spent nearly an hour just playing around on it!


         For the ultimate in romance, take a horse-drawn carriage through the resort.  It is around $35 plus tax and worth every penny!  Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 1-407-WDW-PLAY.  Ahh, love is in the air!
