Staying at POR in June, have breakfast resv. at chef Mickeys at 8:45. How much travel time di we allow and what's the fastest way to travel?

    Hi Kayla!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! An early breakfast at Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort is a fantastic way to start a magical day at Walt Disney World Resort! Complimentary Resort Transportation begins one hour prior to park opening. You should plan on allowing 90 minutes transportation time when using the resort bus system to go between your resort and other resorts to be sure you make it to your reservation on time. So if your reservation is on a day where Magic Kingdom will be open by 8:00 a.m. (regular hours or Extra Magic Hours), you will be able to take a bus from Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside to Magic Kingdom. From there, you can walk right across the street to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your breakfast.

If your reservation is on a day where Magic Kingdom doesn't open until 9:00 a.m. and Complimentary Resort Transportation does not begin early enough, I would recommend taking a taxi from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort to ensure you are in time for your reservation to get your day off to a smooth start. Just let Bell Services know that you will be needing a taxi and they can call one for you.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
