We will be staying at POR this June. I would like some advice on using Disney transportation to the parks during this busy time of year. I know that POR has multiple bus stops. We have a PH so any advice on traveling from park to park? Thanks!

    Hi Teri!
Port Orleans Riverside is my absolute favorite "moderate" resort on property! I love it...the theming, the food court, the pool complex, Yee-hah Bob...everything!
I have stayed at POR many times and although the buses can get a bit crowded and do make a few stops around the resort, I have never waited too long to board one.
Now, if you want to park hop, there are several options. The monorail is available for going to and from Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, and a shuttle boat connects EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
It's getting to Animal Kingdom that only has a bus option (other than a cab). The good news is that Animal Kingdom doesn't tend to be as busy as the other three parks, so getting onto an Animal Kingdom bus is the easiest of the four in my opinion.
The bus system works pretty well overall. However, when I have reached a point where I simply cannot or do not want to wait for a bus, I just hop in a cab. To me, it is worth the extra few dollars to get there when I want.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip next month!! :)
