    We are staying at PO-R and would like our granddaughter to experience the monorail. I get sick on buses so drive whenever possible. Can we take a taxi to the Contemporary so she could see the monorail go through the building and then ride it to MK?

    Hi Sharon,

    You can absolutely take a taxi to Disney's Contemporary Resort to firstly watch the monorail go through the building and then ride one to the Magic Kingdom.

    My son loves riding the monorail when we visit and I am sure that your granddaughter will too!

    Perhaps you could consider making an advanced dining reservation for breakfast at Chef Mickey's whilst you are there. We have always enjoyed this and it is a great way to have photographs with and get autographs from Mickey and his pals without having to wait in line at the parks.
