We are staying at POR & when we go to Animal Kingdom are want to go eat at BOMA :) How far is Animal Kingdom Logde from Animal Kingdom & about how long will it take to get there? Can you see the animals from the hotel?

Boma is a great choice as far as buffet restaurants go, Melissa.  I hope you enjoy your meal there!  The Animal Kingdom Lodge is located very close to Animal Kingdom, unfortunately, though, you cannot walk from one place to the other.  One of Disney's buses should be able to get you there in under twenty minutes.  If you drove yourself or used a taxi, the trip would only take under ten minutes.  The good news is that animals are visible (depending upon their moods, of course) from the resort.  For viewing, you'll want to head straight through the lobby and down the staircase at the opposite end.  From there, follow the sidewalk out to the savanna and enjoy watching the animals!  Have a great time, and do enjoy a zebra dome for me at Boma!
