    We are staying at POR the first week in February. We have dining reservations at Chef Mickey's at 8:50 on Monday morning before heading to MK. What is the best way to travel from POR to the Contemporary? Thanks!

    Hi Tonya!

         Wow, it is so exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up so soon!  You are going to love staying at Port Orleans Resort-Riverside!  The best way that I have found to get to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort from Port Orleans Resort-Riverside using the Walt Disney World Transportation System is to take a bus from Port Orleans Resort-Riverside to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you are at the Magic Kingdom, you can take the Resort Monorail or walk to the Contemporary Resort for your Chef Mickey's breakfast.  After your Chef Mickey's breakfast is finished, then you can take the Resort Monorail back to the Magic Kingdom or walk along the walkway between the Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom (about a 5 to 10 minute walk depending on how fast that you walk).
