We are staying at POR first week of December. I would like to make 8:00 am early Crystal Palace reservations, but what transportation would be best to arrive in time since the buses may not start until 8? Thank you for any suggestions!

    Hi, Allison Hope!

You are going to love both Disney's Port Orleans Resort as well as The Crystal Palace, Allison! Great choices!

Resort transportation tends to begin about an hour prior to park open, so you may need to take a cab to get to your 8 a.m. reservation on time. However, keep in mind that park hours, once posted, can be adjusted, so keep checking back as the date gets closer. In addition, if a.m. Extra Magic Hours happen to be offered at Magic Kingdom on the day of your reservation, transportation will begin even earlier.

Once you check in at Port Orleans, be sure to ask a Cast Member about early morning transportation for Guests with early breakfast reservations, too. Transportation is adjusted frequently, and you may just find that there will some early-morning resort transportation during your stay; you'll just need to ask once you are there, as these things are subject to change frequently.

If you decide to take a cab, simply head to the Taxi area of the front desk where a Cast Member will be happy to lead you to a cab.

Don't forget to allow time for going through bag check before you head into Magic Kingdom; be prepared to be wowed, too, by the beauty of Main Street, USA and Cinderella Castle at that early hour. You'll feel as if you have the park to yourselves! (And you sort of DO!)

Send more questions as you think of them, Allison Hope! We love to help!
