    Staying at POR, can you see any fireworks from this hotel?

    We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside last year in September and had a fabulous time.  In fact, after that visit I decided that Port Orleans is my favorite of all the resorts I've stayed in.  While there is plenty to see and do there though, watching fireworks is not an option. 

    We didn't see fireworks during our stay at all, but I wondered if it was just a matter of not being in the right place at the right time, so I called Port Orleans Riverside and spoke with a very friendly Cast Member who confirmed my suspicions: fireworks are not visible from the grounds at all.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I hope you won't let that deter you from giving Port Orleans a try.  It really is a charming resort!  Enjoy your stay.
