    Staying at POR but don"t get into MCO until around 11pm on 09/28/12. What are chances of getting our rqsts of the new royal room and close to main building? Does our late check in hurt our chances of getting our requests>

    In my experience, the time of check-in makes little difference in having room requests met.  Because we fly from the West coast, we rarely arrive before 7 pm, which is probably a fairly late arrival compared to most travelers.  Of all the times we've visited Walt Disney World, I'd say that we've probably had our room requests met about 50% of the time.  I think it's more a matter of luck than timing.  I will keep my fingers crossed that your requests are sprinkled with a little extra pixie dust!
