    Hi! We are staying at POR in December. Thinking about trying to request a certain area or bldg, either cottages or mansions? Is that possible? Which area do you prefer? I know they have been redoing the mansions now, dont know if we can sneak into one

    Absolutely, you can add a room request to your reservation at any time. While there are no guarantees or promises that the request can be met, it never hurts to ask! To add the request, give Walt Disney World reservations a call at 407-939-7675. They'll be happy to help you out!

    Personally, I love all of Port Orleans and don't have a strong preference. If I HAD to choose, I think I would go with the mansions. However, if you're interested in a renovated room, I'd make sure to add that request as well. Perhaps something like "the mansions section with a renovated room".
