    Staying at POR in Dec. I was just wanting to know how much is recommended for tipping for mousekeeping?

    Hi Tomas:

    While gratuity is not required for Housekeeping (a.k.a. Mousekeeping), it is common for good service. It's customary to leave tips for Mousekeeping in the room rather than on a final bill. Some people I know tip at the end of their stay and some people tip daily. We tend to tip daily since it's possible different Mousekeepers attend to your room during your stay.  Customary tipping usually depends on number of Guests in your party and size of any mess left behind.  In general, most Guests who tip Mousekeeping tend to tip between $1-$5 per Guest per day. But again, it's voluntary.
