We are staying at POR and will have our car. Should we drive or take busses to the parks? Best way to get to 7 am Chef Mickey ADR and then MK? Best way to get to WCC ADR at 5 pm coming from AK? Best way to get to O'hana ADR at 8 pm coming from MK? Thanks!

Hi Heather! You have made a great choice for a resort. Set in beautifully landscaped grounds, Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside has an amazing pool complex on Ol' Man Island as well as fishing and horse drawn carriage rides.

To visit the Magic Kingdom take the bus from your resort to the park. Driving your car to this theme park involves finding a spot in one of the world's biggest parking lots, hopping on a tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center, crossing the TTC, and boarding a ferry or monorail to ride to the Magic Kingdom entrance. The bus simply drops you off at the park's entrance. For all other parks I would drive.

Taking your car to an early morning breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's will be the quickest and easiest way. My family finds we need every minute possible just to get out the door in the morning so not waiting for a bus buys us much needed extra minutes in the am. Disney's Contemporary Resort is walking distance to the Magic Kingdom.

From Disney's Animal Kingdom to the Whispering Canyon Cafe you may take your car or take a bus directly from the park to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. If you plan to return to your resort after dinner rather than the park your car would be the best choice.

Hop on the resort monorail for the quickest and most fun route to 'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Resort in the Magic Kingdom.

Please contact me if you have additional questions. Enjoy your great meals!
