    Staying at POR again this year.Last year when we stayed there our room was far from the main pool and loby. What are the best buildings to ask for?We are a family of 5.

    Hi Christine!
    Port Orleans Riverside is my absolute favorite "moderate" resort on Disney property. Love the theming, the food court, the pool complex, YeeHa Bob...everything!
    But you're right...it's a huge resort and if you're staying in the outer reaches of Alligator Bayou or Magnolia Bend, it can be a 12 minute walk or so to the pool or food court.
    I recommend Buildings 14-18 in the Alligator Bayou section or Buildings 95 or 90 in the Magnolia Bend section. Although these buildings cannot be guaranteed, I recommend making the request both at the time of your reservation and upon check-in.
