Hi. We r staying at POR, ADR at Cindy 9:30AM on 04/15/2013. Looking for transportation advice, will have own car. If busses start at 8:00 I am afraid of crowded busses. Can we take bus or car to EPCOT and take monorail to MK? We have park hopper tickets.

    Hi, Kim!

If your Advanced Dining Reservation is for 9:30 a.m. that day, you should be at your Port Orleans bus stop no later than 8 a.m. in order to be sure you'll get there on time. Buses may be more crowded at that time, since MK opens at 9 that morning, but if you choose to drive instead, you'll probably be seeing the same kind of traffic on the roads and getting to the parking lot as well.

If you head to Epcot instead, which also opens at 9 that morning, you may find that the bus is less crowded than one to MK, but you've just added the trip to the Transportation and Ticket Center plus the transfer onto the Magic Kingdom monorail line as well, most likely lengthening your journey quite a bit. (You won't even need your Park Hopper Option to do so, though, as the monorail entrance is outside of the park gates.)

I'd stick to Plan A: be at the bus stop a bit before 8 a.m., so as to better enable you to get onto the first bus that arrives at your stop. Keep in mind that others will be shortly behind it, too, making it very easy for you to make your 9:30 reservation.

Enjoy your stay, Kim! You've picked a great resort and a wonderful location for a most magically memorable meal: Cinderella' Royal Table!
