Staying at POR. Have ADR at Chef Mickey's Feb5 @ 9:25am. Maybe use the monorail, just for fun (kids 3 & 8) to travel to Epcot for that day. What is the best way to do this, logistically? And can I find maps/info for bus&monorail stops and info o

I like how you think, Catherine!  No trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is complete without a ride on the monorail.  I love this mode of transportation, and getting to Epcot from Disney's Contemporary Resort (where Chef Mickey's is located) is really easy.

Board the monorail at the Contemporary and take it to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC), which happens to be the very next stop.  Disembark at the TTC and then transfer to the Epcot-bound monorail.  Signage will make it very easy for you to spot where you need to go to board this next monorail.  If in doubt, ask any of the friendly cast members at the monorail station.  Once on-board the Epcot-bound monorail, just sit back and enjoy the ride.  The very next stop will be your destination-Epcot!

I don't believe there are any maps with monorail stops listed because there are so few.  Your best bet is to ask a cast member if you need clarification while you are there.

I hope you and your children have a magical vacation!
