Hiya Alicia,
Welcome to planDisney! Visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with a little one is an incredible adventure. When I took my daughter there at four months old, she was in awe of everything around her. The sights, sounds, and smells are perfect for babies, in my opinion. It made everything that much more special.
What wasn’t special was the massive amount of luggage we packed for a week-long trip; it felt like we were moving into our Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel. Like you, we opted to pick up diapers upon arrival to save space in our luggage. During our visit, we chose to pick up diapers at a grocery store since we had a rental car, but you are welcome to have diapers delivered to
Disney’s Pop Century Resort either via
grocery delivery or Amazon. Since we also like to have water bottles and snacks in our resort room, we tend to choose the grocery delivery route. In either case, there are some things you need to know before scheduling a delivery to your resort hotel.
1. Make sure to include the complete mailing address for Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
2. Include the word “Guest” before your name and your arrival date. Many of my fellow panelists also recommend adding your reservation number if possible.
3. Also, Walt Disney World Resort currently charges a $6 per package handling fee for all packages received through the Front Desk or delivered to your resort hotel room (subject to change). If you choose the grocery delivery route, you can have these delivered left at Bell Services for no fee (delivery to the room will incur the $6 charge).
I hope this was helpful, Alicia. Navigating Walt Disney World Resort with a baby is always a fun challenge. My advice is to be flexible with your plans and take advantage of the Baby Care Centers (and indoor attractions). Even in February, the temperatures can get a little warm (or too cold) for little ones, so it is nice to use them to rest. My little one has now visited Walt Disney World Resort twice in under a year of life, so I’m happy to share any tips and tricks I’ve learned. Please come back to see
me if there is anything else I can do to help.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
