    Staying at POP (1st time @ a Disney resort) arriving 2/15/14 with DH, DD2 and DS4. We will be back in our room by 8p each nite for DD to go to sleep. Is there a good spot for me to take DS out to see Wishes (outside of the park) if he can stay up till 10p?

    Hi Jen!

         Watching Wishes from outside the Magic Kingdom is one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World with my son. The two places with the best views of Wishes are at the Beach of the Polynesian Resort or on the docks of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. There is a great view of Cinderella Castle from both places. If you choose the beach at the Polynesian Resort and get there early enough (about 30 min before Wishes starts), you may get to sit in a hammock, swinging chair, or reclining beach chair to watch Wishes.

         Also the other benefit to watching Wishes this way is that you will be able to see the Electric Water Pageant which parades around the Seven Seas Lagoon nightly! You can take a bus from Pop Century to the Magic Kingdom and then a boat or the Resort Monorail to the Polynesian Resort or the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

    I hope that your February 2014 Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
