staying at POP in 8/10/2012-8/20/2012. have stayed there several times before. wondering what best way to request certain area and room choice for visit. coming with a group of 15. want to try to get rooms next to each other.

    Hi Kristin!

Being at Walt Disney World with a big group of friends & family is so much fun!
If you're using a Disney Dining Plan, be sure to jump online to make some dining reservations for your group as soon as you hit that 180 day mark! You may find it easier to call in at (407) WDW-DINE so that a Disney Dining Cast Member can make your reservations simultaneously for your group.

If you'd like to try to have your resort rooms adjoining, connecting or as close to one another as possible, you should definitely call in to speak to a Reservations Cast Member at (407) 939-7675. Have all your Resort Confirmation numbers handy when you call, and advise the Cast Member that you're traveling with a large group and would like to have your reservations 'linked' in the system. You should also request that a note be placed on each reservation file. Advise the Cast Member of your requests such as certain locations or building names in the resort & requesting that your rooms be next to one another.

Requests cannot always be 'guaranteed,' but placing a note on your reservations and linking them in the system in advance certainly helps out. When a resort Cast Member assigns rooms on your day of arrival they'll do their very best to meet your requests. Ask again about this as you're checking in to Pop Century on the 10th of August.

I hope you'll visit again if you require further assistance with any dining recommendations or planning tips for your group.

Wishing you a very Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Kristin!
