Hello! We will be staying at POP soon. We will be buying military tickets for the parks. Trying to figure out the best way to get those activated on our first day so we don't waste time when we visit the park the next day. Adr at Ohana at 8pm the first

    Hi Crystal,

Most importantly, thank you and your family for your military service!

There are a few steps to keep in mind when using Disney Military Promotional Tickets. First, be sure to purchase your ticket vouchers from your U.S Base Military Ticket Office.  That voucher can be linked to your My Disney Experience account, so you can begin scheduling your FastPass+ Reservations a full 60-days before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Before entering a theme park for the first time, you must pop by one of the conveniently located Guest Relations windows.  There, a friendly Cast Member will request your active or retired military identification, and will convert your voucher to a ticket. He or she will also verify that everything is linked properly to your MagicBand so that you can easily breeze through the gates when you are ready.

Converting your voucher to a ticket is very quick and easy!  If you would like to get that squared away on your first day at Walt Disney World Resort, that would be simple to squeeze-in before your dinner at 'Ohana.  Simply board a bus from Disney's Pop Century Resort heading to Magic Kingdom Park.  Once there, make the quick stroll from the Bus area to the Guest Relations Window. Please keep in mind that you will need to pass through the security screenings including bag check, so be sure to give yourself a few extra minutes for that process.

Once your tickets are ready, you can either board the Resort Monorail or the Gold Flag motor launch boat to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for your delectable, family-style dinner at 'Ohana.

Please come back and visit us, Crystal, with any other questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." I am the lucky wife to my brave Prince and a stay-at-home mom to two bold and brilliant little girls; one a Jedi Padawan and the other a Princess. Joining the Disney Vacation Club meant that our family could travel to a "World of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" as often as we could sneak away, so we do! I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
