    Staying at Pop 11/30-12/5/08. We paid the extra for a preferred room. Should we still request a specific building? We are four adult women who don't want to be near a great deal of noise but don't want a long walk to food court or bus stop either. THX

    On our family's recent trip to WDW, my Mom stayed at this resort. My family went over one day to tour the grounds.

    To avoid noise, I would stay away from the 60s building which is near the popular Hippy Dippy pool. If you desire close proximity to the food court and the bus stop, I would request a first floor room in the 70s area. This should get you a preferred room (since you've paid extra for one) which will have less walking time from the other rooms in the 70s area, plus a room away from the pool noise and still a close distance to Classic Hall and the bus stop.
