Hi Katie,
Your visit to Pop Century will be here soon so let's review the
Disney Dining Plan (DDP) so you can get back to packing!
If you purchase a breakfast meal, it will count as a quick-service meal from your DDP. A meal would be pancakes, Mickey waffles, omelet, etc. The cheese omelets at Everything Pop is my favorite breakfast item at Pop Century!
However, if you just grab a pastry, then you can use a snack credit instead. This is a good way to stretch those dining credits! Just look for the purple DDP logo for what items are available as snack credit purchases.
Another good way to budget your meals would be to pay for breakfast out-of-pocket and hang on to that snack credit to use later in the day at the parks. I'm thinking a yummy sundae, Dole Whip, or even a bakery item from Karmelle Kuche (caramel items!!) in Epcot's Germany pavilion. Breakfast is usually the least expensive meal of the day and you could easily purchase cereal and/or fruit to refuel in the morning, then use your quick service meal credit at lunch!
I hope your family has a magical visit to WDW!
