Hey there! Hi there! Ho there, Brooke! I am thrilled to see you back at planDisney, where you are as welcome as can be!
I just returned from a trip to
Walt Disney World, with separate hotel reservations at the Contemporary Resort. It started as a quick overnight trip to squeeze in as much holiday fun as possible, but then, like you, we added days. I mean, there is so much to do; one day was ambitious, but not nearly enough. Were we as smart as you, we might have added days on both ends of our trip. You know, you regret the trips you don't take – and the extra time you could have spent on the ones you did.
When I made the second reservation, I was sure to get the same room type. When I checked in, I spoke with a Cast Member at the Front Desk, who worked some Disney magic to keep us in the same room for the rest of our stay. She also checked our
MagicBands+ to make sure they were activated and linked correctly. I am typically a fan of
checking in on the
My Disney Experience app, but I recommend stopping at the front and asking about staying in the same room.
The one downside to adding days is that the system sees each reservation separately when you make dining reservations. With three different reservations, you will have three mornings when your
window opens to book dining and Enchanting Extras.
You are going to love staying at
Pop Century Resort! With the
Disney Skyliner, you have the world at your feet! I love swinging like Tarzan to the EPCOT station and exploring the
BoardWalk.
Trattoria al Forno is one of our favorites for carbs to fuel all the steps at the theme parks. And then there is
Beaches & Cream. The Kitchen Sink is a challenge I love to accept! You can see all the
restaurants in the area that take reservations. So many tempting options!
Brooke, I hope you get the dining of your dreams and have a trip that is practically perfect in every way! If you have any other questions, you know
planDisney is always happy to help!
Magic Awaits!
