Staying at pop mar 8-15. We have ADR at ohana and 1900 park during the hours the monorail is to be closed. What would be our best route of Disney transportation since we won't have a car.

Hello Shanna.  Thank you for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You have picked some really great restaurants to dine at!  'Ohana is my favorite, yum.  Since the monorail will be closed from 11:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. daily during the refurbishment, I suggest taking a bus from your Resort to the Magic Kingdom. Once at the Magic Kingdom you can hop on another bus from Magic Kingdom to where your dining reservations are.  If you are at one of the Theme Parks and going straight to your meal, you can hop on the coordinating bus at the bus stop outside of the Park.  You could also travel to your dining destination by boat.  If you are leaving from your Resort you will still need to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom.  From there you can board a boat that will take your from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Boats run on a 15-30 minute interval.  While the boats are fun, I am a big fan of the Bus Transportation System at Walt Disney World.  If it were my family, I would primarily stick to hopping buses to get to your dining destination.

Have a fabulous vacation Shanna!  We have gone several times over your trip dates and have had a wonderful time.  The early part of March is a fabulous time to visit!  If you have any other question about your upcoming trip, please feel free to ask us another question.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
