Hello, Malissa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I recently visited the
Walt Disney World Resort with my parents (who are 57 and 62 years old), and both of them had to show their passports at some point when purchasing alcohol. I experienced the same when traveling alone, and I don't look 20 anymore (even though my husband tells me that I still look like I'm 19 years old). Bless his Disney-loving heart!
You may want to carry your ID around so that you don't miss the fantastic drinks that are waiting for you at the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm going in May, and I'm already
browsing the menu at the
Enchanted Rose Lounge to decide what's the perfect drink to start my night!
In my opinion, it's wise to carry your ID with you at all times, mainly because you may need it for an emergency, for example. I like to bring my ID, a spare credit card, and my health insurance card in a tiny pouch inside my purse, and they saved me a few times when traveling!
I hope that you have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resort in August, dear Malissa. May you raise many toasts to celebrate this fantastic vacation!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
