We are staying at POP 12/19 to 12/28. Is this too long of a stay for our daughter who will be 2yrs and 10months old at the time? We thought 9nights and 10days would give us plenty of time to see and rest w/o too much stress. I check the panel everyday:)

    Hello Connie!

It sounds like you have a really great vacation planned! I'm so happy that you are enjoying the panel and hopefully finding it useful.

In my personal opinion, I don't think ten days is too long at all. As you said, it will give you plenty of time to do the things that are important to you without the stress of trying to fit everything in to a shorter trip. My family likes to take longer trips for this very reason. I have found that when we stay longer I tend to relax more because I know we have plenty of time.

We have stayed for as few as three nights and our next trip is for two and a half weeks. Usually on the shorter trips, you're just getting used to being on vacation when you have to pack up and head home. I think that when you stay for a longer stretch of time, it's easier to say goodbye - don't get me wrong, it's still hard, just a little easier!

Since your daughter is young and may still take a mid-day nap, I would make a list of all the things you would most like to see and do. Try to accomplish a couple of these things each day, and leave plenty of time to enjoy yourselves and just have fun! I'm pretty sure you'll feel stress free and very glad that you chose to stay for ten days!

    Have a wonderful time!
