We are staying at POP. Kids would love to do Skyliner and Monorail but we’re only doing one park day at MK. Can we take Skyliner to Epcot and then Monorail to MK?

It's great to see you here today at planDisney, Jessica! I'm so glad to hear that you're leaving for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days. I bet you and your kids are so excited! Disney's Pop Century Resort is one of my favorite Resort Hotels and you've already hit on one of the reasons I love it so much: the Disney Skyliner! It's my favorite form of transportation to use when I'm on vacation, and it makes getting to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios a really magical experience.

Jessica, at the moment, the EPCOT monorail loop isn't running but the loop that services Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and Disney's Contemporary Resort is online and transporting guests around the Seven Seas Lagoon area. So while you won't be able to hop off of the Disney Skyliner and onto the monorail this time, you can certainly ride it when you're at Magic Kingdom Park for the day. One of my favorite things to do is take a break in the middle of the day to visit Gasparilla Island Grill or Contempo Café for lunch, and the monorail is the best way to do that! Leaving the hustle and bustle of the Theme Parks for a quiet meal at a Resort Hotel is the perfect way to break up your day, so give that a try if a monorail ride is on your must-do list this time!

    Have a magical day, Jessica!
