    I am staying at POP on a girls only trip with my 9 year old. I have already booked a preferred room. Since it's just us girls, safety is a concern, especially since we like visiting the parks late pm and early am. Any tips on a safe room? Security help?

    Hi Carey!

    That is a great question!  It has been my experience that Walt Disney World is a very safe place, but like any large place it makes sense to be cautious. Walt Disney World, including the parking lots, are relatively well lit. If you will be using Disney transportation, then you have even less to worry about. Within Pop Century you can ask a Disney Cast Member to escort you to your building. That said, with a preferred room, you really don't need to worry. Pop Century has a lot of guests walking around the preferred buildings except in the dead of night.
