    We are staying at Pop and have dinner reservations at Boma. Is best way to catch bus to AK and then to the AK resort? We are constantly being told to go DTD from Pop and catching bus to AK resort - just seems a huge waste of time.

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.

    Your best method of transportation really depends on the timing of your reservation at Boma. Since Animal Kingdom closes at 5:00pm most days at the time of your visit, taking a bus directly to Animal Kingdom Park as your point of transfer en route from Disney's Pop Century Resort may or may not be an option. If you'll be visiting a park during the day and not needing to return to Pop Century prior to dinner, definitely hop on board a bus directly to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. 

    Should you find yourself at Pop Century prior to dinner, consider heading on out to the bus stop by 4:30pm and take the bus to Animal Kingdom Park, transferring to an Animal Kingdom Lodge bus. There's so much to enjoy at this resort if you arrive early. Head on out to the Arusha Rock elevated rock platform for a panoramic view of the savanna. Tour the amazing lobby taking in all the displays and artifacts. Pop outside to tour the pool area and visit the flamingos. We even enjoy a visit to the Zawadi Marketplace! It's by far one of my favourite gift shops in all of Walt Disney World! My kids can't resist sitting down for a game of checkers.

    If you're dining past 6pm and not wanting to leave until then, you'll need to take a bus from Pop Century to Downtown Disney where you can transfer to an Animal Kingdom Lodge bus. Alternatively, you can of course opt to take a taxi from Pop Century directly to Animal Kingdom Lodge to save yourself some time and waiting. Following your meal, you'll need to route via Downtown Disney again to return to Pop Century.
