We are staying at Pop and dining at Grand Floridian. Want to take bus to MK & then to GF. Is bus quicker than monorail? We are going same day as arrival and want to allow time for check-in and getting back to buses. ETA is 5pm @ Pop & dinner is 7:2

    Hi Michelle,

Dinner at Grand Floridian is a great way to start your vacation! You'll probably have to leave for dinner as soon as you check into your resort. It will take about an hour to travel from Pop to Grand Floridian. There are no buses to Grand Floridian, so once you arrive at Magic Kingdom, you'll want to take the Resort Monorail.

If for some reason, you are running late, you can opt to take a cab. It's a bit of a splurge, but it will get you to the resort in about 15 minutes.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
