We are staying at Pop Century 11/1/12-11/7/12. I am wondering what room numbers in the 50's section is closest to the food court area and buses? Also, how do I go about requesting a room at Pop Century? Thanks!

    Hi Cathleen!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Pop Century is my favorite Disney Value Resort.  I have spent a lot of time there.  You can call Disney directly and ask that a room request be placed on your reservation.  Then, about 3 days before check-in, I suggest calling Pop Century directly and reiterating your room request.  Don't call much before 3 days as your reservation will still be in the central resort system and won't exist at Pop Century yet.

With regards to what to request, I highly recommend not putting in a specific room number.  That is because if that room (or rooms) is not available, the Disney Cast Member trying to assign a room to you really doesn't know what you want or why you asked for those specific room numbers.  Instead, I recommend putting in a request that states you would like the room in the 50's section closest to Classic Hall.  If you want a  ground floor room, put that in as well.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
