Staying at Pop Century & I was wondering if I need to pack soap, kids shampoo, hair dryer, and an iron or does this come in the room? Also what would be a good section to stay in w/ a toddler? Thanks!

    Hi Jessica,

The Pop Century is a great resort (I love going there!).  As far as the location to be in with a toddler, that is up to you...I will give you a few suggestions.  If you want to go on a better budget, then you will have to put up with a bit of extra walking, the resort is quite large and the less expensive rooms would be further away from the main building (where the food court, front desk, gift shop, bus transportation and Arcade are located).  If you do not mind paying a bit more, then you can stay in one of the "preferred" rooms which are located closer to the main building and the Hippy Dippy Pool (this pool is so much fun, filled with wonderful beach balls for everyone to play with, as well as a great kiddie pool!).  Just for your information, "preferred" rooms at the Value Resorts have increased for "2008" @ $10 - $14 (to get you closer to the main building) per room, per night.

On to the amenities question...I always bring my daughters shampoo with us, as I know she likes her "tearless" kind and also for possible allergies she may have.  They do provide soap and shampoo though if you are not too fussy about this for your toddlers.  There is an iron and ironing board in the rooms here, as well as a hairdryer.  I didn't have a hairdryer in my room here last time, but I called the front desk and they had one sent to my room right away.  If you need anything, just call and they will let you know if they can accommodate you.  Have a magical stay and say hi! to Mickey for me!!!

    Best wishes,
