Staying at Pop Century and wanted to know which building are the preferred rooms (not preferred pool rooms)? Also, can I request a certain building (I know there is no guarantee)? Thanks moms panel. Ya'll have been a great help with your answers.

Hi Jerry! Glad to help with your question about Pop Century which is one of my favorite Disney resorts!

The preferred rooms are as follows:
50's section: The three arms that are closest to Classic Hall (lobby /check-in building)
60's section: All rooms except the lake facing ones...this section is the one that faces the pool.
70's section: The three arms that are closest to Classic Hall

When you book a room at this resort you can book a guaranteed preferred room. You cannot be guaranteed which section you will be in as that is determined at check-in. However, you can put a request in for a specific section. My vote for that would be the 70's....close to the food court!
