Staying at Pop Century; If we wanted to check out the Boardwalk would transportation be as hassle? If we wanted to spend an evening there could we potentially miss out on return transportation if we were too late leaving? How late do buses run?

Hi Sara! The Boardwalk area is one of my favorite places at Walt Disney World. We love to stay at the Yacht Club resort and look out over the water at the lights each evening. Just strolling around the lake in the complete circle is so relaxing and enjoyable.

But there are many great things to see and do beyond walking. Each evening you will find amazing street entertainment as well as some simple fair games to take a chance on. ESPN Club is always roaring with some sort of sports game on TV and their large arcade next door has all the latest. Check out the Wyland gallery and for sure stop in at Jellyrolls where you can find the dueling pianos performing.

You can definitely spend a few hours here into the wee morning.  You will have two choices for transportation with the easiest being a taxi. If you don't want to spend the $12-$15 for that ride you can catch the Downtown Disney bus which will run until 2:30am. Please check the last bus time at the Boardwalk resort before you start your evening as things can and do change with times. Once in Downtown Disney you will then transfer to a Pop Century bus for the trip back to your resort.

Have a wonderful evening at the Boardwalk!
