We’ll be staying at Pop Century soon. I’ve heard from people that the mini fridges at this resort are more like beverage coolers and will not get cold enough. I have a very small dorm size fridge and a super small microwave I’d like to bring. Is this ok?

Hey, Lindsay, and welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by because we are big fans of Disney's Pop Century Resort and have made it our weekend home since 2010. From there we jump on the Disney Skyliner to join the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and create a delicious meal during Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT.

The beverage refrigerators with their sleek clear door do not get very cold and are not large. They are perfect for refreshment bottles and cans and small leftovers. Unfortunately, safety requirements prevent Guests from bringing their own heaters, microwaves, refrigerators, and toasters. If you need to heat up an item there are several microwave ovens in Everything POP Shopping & Dining. You can do an internet search for "Pop Century Resort room tour" to review the room.

planDisney Pro Tip: Ice machines are available for items needing to be stored in your cooler. I recommend you bring one and two-gallon resealable bags to refill to keep items chilly.

Lindsay, thank you again for stopping by planDisney. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
