Staying at Pop Century Resort. Any suggestions are what section to stay in? I don't have a perferred room. Are Perferred rooms are really worth the money? I have stayed at Pop Century before in the 80's section but maybe something different this time.

    Hi Stacey!!

I absolutely love Disney's Pop Century Resort!!!  It is my favorite Value Resort at Walt Disney World!!

I, too, enjoy staying in the 80's Section of the resort.  I also enjoy staying in the 90's Building (Rooms 8101 through 8472.)  This block of rooms is a short walk across the parking lot to the Bus Stops, Classic Hall, and Everything Pop areas.

I never book a Preferred Room.  I have figured it is only an extra minute or two to walk when in a Standard Room.  I also don't mind having a parking lot view in my Standard Room.  I love the fact that I can save a few extra bucks per night when I book a Standard Room!  It gives me more spending money in the theme parks and Downtown Disney!!

Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can help answer!!

    Have a magical day!

    Scott
