    We are staying at the Pop Century Resort and have reservation for an 8:10 Breakfast at the Crystal Palace. MK opens at 9am. Info I found says that the busses begin running 1 hr before the parks open. To be early for breakfast will we have to drive?

    Lisa, you’ll be just fine getting to the Magic Kingdom for your breakfast with the Hundred Acre Wood friends.

    Although the Magic Kingdom opens officially at 9 a.m., the buses are scheduled to begin running at 7:15 a.m. for character meals.

    You’ll want to be at the Pop Century bus stop a few minutes early. Take the first bus that says Magic Kingdom. If you miss the first bus, it’ll be at least 20 minutes before the next one comes along. And note that if the bus arrives early, it won’t wait until 7:15 a.m. to leave. It’ll pick up passengers and then depart, thus why I always get to the bus stop before it’s first scheduled pick up time.

    Our family likes to “hurry up and wait” rather than being stressed about being on time.  You’ll really enjoy your breakfast at the Crystal Palace if you haven’t been racing to get there.
