We are staying at Pop Century Resort in November 2019. Are we allowed to swim in the pools at Wilderness Lodge.?

Hi, Charlene! Thanks for “Pop”ping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your swimmingly good question!

You’ve chosen a couple of fabulous Resort hotels to explore! My family has stayed at both, and both have their own distinct charm. Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a fun and funky trip through time. Meanwhile, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge transports you to the majesty of the Pacific Northwest. It’s so realistic, you might even forget you’re in Florida!

And of course, both Resort hotels also feature splash-tacular pools! As a Guest of Disney's Pop Century Resort, you'll get to take a dip in the totally rad Hippy Dippy Pool. However, Walt Disney World Resort pools are generally reserved for use by Guests of that specific Resort hotel, so you wouldn’t have access to the pools at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

But you're still welcome to check out lots of other things the Lodge has to offer, Charlene! Head on over and sit fireside in the soaring lobby, have a rousing meal at Whispering Canyon Cafe, or sip a beverage by the lake at Geyser Point Bar & Grill. And don’t forget to say “heigh-ho” to Snow White and her pals at the newest character experience, Storybook Dining at Artist Point.

I hope you have a blast discovering these incredible Resort hotels, Charlene. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
