I will be staying at the Pop Century Resort in June 2010. I am planning on eating at several places like AKL (Boma), Wilderness Lodge (Artist Point), Yacht Club (Yachtsman Steakhouse), Boardwalk (Flying Fish). What's the fastest way to get there from P.C.?

    Hi Ryan!

You picked a great Walt Disney World Resort to stay at! I have stayed at the Pop Century Resort two times with my son and we absolutely love it! You also have some incredible restaurants that you are planning to dine at during your trip in June 2010.

There are many different ways and methods of transportation to get from place to place in Walt Disney World.  The three basic rules to remember when using the transportation at Walt Disney World are:

    1. You cannot travel directly from Resort to Resort unless all of the Resorts are on the Monorail line

    2. You cannot travel from Park to Park without stopping at a Resort or the Ticket and Transportation Center in between to make a transfer to another bus or monorail

    3. You will need to schedule extra travel time into your schedule if you are eating at a restaraunt in a Resort

Here are the quickest ways from the Pop Century Resort the restaurants that you are planning to dine at:

Pop Century to Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge = Bus to the Animal Kingdom then transfer to a bus going to the Animal Kingdom Lodge (if the Animal Kingdom is not open, then take a bus to Epcot and transfer to to a bus going to the Animal Kingdom Lodge)

Pop Century to Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge = Bus to the Magic Kingdom then transfer to a bus or a boat to the Wilderness Lodge

Pop Century to Yachtsman Steakhouse in the Yacht Club = Bus to Epcot then transfer to a bus going to the Yacht and Beach Club Resort

Pop Century to Flying Fish at the Boardwalk Resort = Bus to Epcot then transfer to a bus going to the Boardwalk Resort

If you are tight for time, you can always pay for a Taxi from the Pop Century to the Resort that you are dinning at.

I hope that you have some magical dining experiences at Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
