Hi Miriam,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
We usually love staying in Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms that offer a kitchenette, so we often do a bit of a grocery shop when we arrive in the Central Florida area. Although all of the grocery stores are a taxi or Uber ride away, most Walt Disney World Resort hotels have some items for sale in their gift shop. You’ll see a limited selection of bread, milk, some yogurt and fruit, but the selection is typically somewhat limited and slightly more expensive than in a conventional grocery store. If you have your heart set on any particular brands, or fruit that goes beyond your basic apples/bananas/oranges, I’d recommend heading out to find a wider variety.
You can also use Instacart or Garden Grocer to have groceries delivered to your Resort, but please be advised that you’ll have to pay a delivery fee to your Resort (on top of whatever fees your grocery delivery service may charge).
As a final note, I don’t believe
Disney’s Pop Century Resort offers any Family Suite accommodations. You’re likely staying at either
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (which is right next to Pop Century) or at
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. Either way, I have absolutely no doubt that you’ll love your Family Suite’s amenities and that you’ll have a wonderful stay!
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
