staying at pop century, have reservations at chef mickey's for breakfast, What the easiest and quickest way to get there? Also how long will it take?

    Hi Leslie,

Thanks for sending the Disney Parks Moms Panel your question.  Using a Disney Transportation, I have found that the easiest and quickest way to get to Disney's Contemporary Resort for a breakfast at Chef Mickey's is to take the bus from your Resort to the Magic Kingdom and then catch the monorail from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  You could also walk from the Magic Kingdom following the path from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The walk does seem to be a bit quicker, however my daughter absolutely loves the monorail.  I usually leave my room at least a full hour in advance to make breakfast reservations.  If your reservation is close to the Theme Park opening, I would recommend leaving even a bit earlier, just to make sure you arrive in time.

If your reservation is really early, I would also suggest that you take a taxi directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  It will save a significant amount of time and should cost roughly $15.00 - $20.00.  There are always Cast Members available at the front of your Resort who are able to point you in the right direction or to call a taxi if one is not already waiting.

I hope you enjoy your stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort Leslie.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation approaches.  I would be happy to help.
