We are staying at Pop Century in October for 3 nights. On our last day we will check out of the hotel and spend the day in MK or AK before heading straight to the airport. Are there lockers at either of these places where we can keep our luggage?

    Hiya Jocelyne,

Welcome back to planDisney! We are so excited that you continue to visit us for help planning your upcoming visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Thank you for another great question! So, first off, yes, there are lockers at all four theme parks (and water parks), but I'm not entirely sure they would fit your luggage. Magic Kingdom offers a jumbo-sized locker option measuring 17" x 22" x 26", while Animal Kingdom's largest locker is 15.5" x 13" x 17". I measured the suitcase I generally carry with me on my vacations, and it exceeded both of these dimensions. I have two recommendations for you, the first is one that I use all the time. When I check out of my resort hotel, I drop off my luggage with Bell Services and ask them to store it while I enjoy the day at the theme parks. Then, when I'm done for the day, I swing by the resort and pick up my luggage before heading out. If you are flying with Southwest Airlines, consider another option that's great for you, especially since you are staying at Pop Century Resort. Recently, Walt Disney World Resort began piloting a program that allows Guests who are staying at select resort hotels (including Pop Century) and flying with Southwest Airlines to have their luggage sent ahead to Orlando International Airport the day of their departure. I haven't used this service yet, but I hope it eventually expands to include more resorts and airlines.

I hope this was helpful, Jocelyne. Before I let you go, as you continue planning your trip, be sure to check out the foodie guides for the spooky season and EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. I always love to plan out my snacks, so these foodie guides are perfect for that! Either way, I know that you will have a magical time with your family, but if you need anything else, please come back and see us.

    Happy Planning,
