Hi Stephanie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Kona Cafe at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a great choice for breakfast, which I have enjoyed many times! The fastest way to travel there from
Disney's Pop Century Resort is by car. How about a magical start to your day by using the
Minnie Van Service? These offer such a lovely way to take you around Walt Disney World! I love seeing them out and about, and with their very distinctive Minnie Mouse styling they are very easy to spot! They are driven by friendly and knowledgeable Disney Cast Members and offer a comfortable and convenient way for up to 6 Guests to travel around the Resort. The Minnie Vans can be ordered by using the Lyft app, each cost is calculated according to your individual journey, and this will be displayed on the app before you confirm your booking. You might prefer to take a taxi cab - you can ask the Front Desk of your Resort hotel to call one for you, but please allow some extra time for this, as there may not be any taxis readily available at the hotel.
Depending on the time of your breakfast reservation, you could use Disney transport, by taking a bus to Magic Kingdom Park, and then transferring to a boat or monorail for Disney's Polynesian Resort.
Resort Transportation typically begins operating around 45 minutes prior to park opening, so for a 9.00am opening your buses will begin arriving at Disney's Pop Century Resort around 8.15am, or if Magic Kingdom Park is offering Extra Magic Hours that day, buses will arrive at your Resort hotel around 7.15am. I would allow 60-90 minutes for the total journey to give you enough time transferring to other transport for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Talking of Disney Transport - the newest option - the
Disney Skyliner is due to open sometime this Fall, and this looks a very exciting way to travel with amazing views from above the Resort! The early testing of this new service is quite a sight to see, and as Disney's Pop Century Resort is being served by these Skyliners you will definitely see them in operation - they may even be up and running for everyone during your vacation. Keep watching the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about this.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
