We are staying at Pop Century in Oct. We want to take the boat to Downtown Disney our first night. Where can we get on the boat?

Hi, Heather! What a great way to spend your first night.

Downtown Disney is reachable by boat from Port Orleans Resort, Old Key West and Saratoga Springs. Unfortunately, Hourglass Lake at Pop Century doesn't have any boat transportation. There is a bus at Pop Century that will take you to Downtown Disney.

I'm guessing that you're planning to hit Downtown Disney rather than burning a park ticket for those few hours. If you're really hoping to get there via boat, here's what I'd do:

    1. From Pop Century, take the shuttle to Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Studios is the closest park to Pop Century. It will take you five minutes once on board.
    2. Then, when you arrive at Hollywood Studios, rather than walking toward the gate, veer to your left and the resort shuttles. Look for the Saratoga Springs shuttle and take it to the resort. Saratoga Springs is one of the closest resorts to Downtown Disney.
    3. Arrive at Saratoga Springs. If you have extra time, grab dinner at the Turf Club. Then, go to the boat transportation area to take the boat to Downtown Disney.

To return from Downtown Disney to Pop Century, take the direct resort shuttle back.
