Hey, howdy, hey, Dolores and welcome to the Disney Park Moms Panel. I am so excited about your trip next year because the end of February and beginning of March is the perfect time to experience the magic of Disney as the weather is still cool and crowds are low.
Disney's Pop Century Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort hold a special place for my family. We began our family Disney adventures at these Resort hotels. Our favorite parts are the pools especially the Big Blue Pool. Make sure to grab a quick game of Twister between the '70s Buildings.
The '60s Buildings are the closest to the food court and shopping at
Everything POP Shopping & Dining and the Generation Gap Bridge which offers a leisurely stroll to Disney's Art of Animation Resort. When you check in, explain to the front desk that you have family across the bridge at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and that you will be back and forth throughout your stay. You would appreciate a room in the '60s building or closest walk to the bridge. Cast Members will do everything they can to get make your stay more comfortable but are within the limits of your reservation. If you have a Lake View, Pool View, or Preferred Room reservation then you have a better chance of getting the location you want.
Generation Gap Bridge is also the path to catch the
Disney Skyliner.
Disney Dad Tip: Grab a slice of Tie-Dye Cheesecake at Everything POP Shopping & Dining and peruse the shadowboxes in the lobby. Some of my favorite memories are there.
Dolores, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
