Hi, there!
Hannah, I'm thrilled to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days. And with
little ones in tow! You are sure to have a magical stay.
We made our first family visit when my little guys were both under the age of 3. It made for some extra planning, but oh, it made for lots of precious memories! They drank a LOT of milk back then, so I was sure to plan ahead with bottles, sippy cups, and a highlighted map of every location where I could buy whole milk (just kidding about the map, but I
did make sure that I would be able to purchase milk ahead of time). While I can't tell you the exact temperature of the mini-refrigerator in your room at
Disney's Pop Century Resort, I can say that in my experience, the mini-refrigerators in our Disney Resort hotel rooms have always been cold enough to keep milk, yogurt, coffee creamer, and other perishable items safely stored.
While you are welcome to take milk and other snacks and beverages into the theme parks, one important thing to note is that
loose ice is not permitted in coolers or bags. I'm always sure to pack a box of gallon-sized Ziploc bags for our Disney vacations. These resealable bags come in handy for all sorts of reasons, but one of the ways I like to use them is to fill one with ice from our resort's ice maker to then toss into our cooler.
If you find yourself out of milk, not to worry! Stop by
Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney's Pop Century Resort. There you'll find various types of milk available for purchase, from single-servings to half-gallons. I was always able to buy milk at most Quick-Service and Table-Service dining locations as well.
I hope this was helpful, Hannah. I'm wishing you and your family a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Ashley
