We'll be staying at Pop Century next Jan 22 and have planned a day to go shopping to the Outlet malls. Is there a place in Downtown Disney where we can take a taxi or the I-Trolley to go the mall at International Drive?

Sergio, you have mentioned a question many guests ask when they come to Walt Disney World for a vacation.  Who can resist wanting to shop at some of the best outlet malls in the country!

You can take a taxi from any location on property to any outlet mall in town but it can be pricey. From Downtown Disney a taxi to the Premium Outlet Mall on Vineland is about $25 where a trip to the International Drive Mall would be more like $50.

The least expensive way to reach the malls is by taking the Lynx Busses.  You can catch one at two places on property: Transportation and Ticket Center or Downtown Disney.  The Transportation and Ticket Center is easy but the trip will be longest from there since it will stop at Downtown Disney.  Finding the bus stop at Downtown Disney is a bit more difficult but cast members will surely help you once you are there.

To reach the Premium Outlet Mall on Vineland you would need to take bus 50 and the trip takes about 15 minutes.  To reach the Premium Outlet Mall on International Drive take bus 50 then transfer to bus 8...this can be confusing so make sure you let your bus driver know where you wish to go and they will assist you. If you want to go to the Millenium Mall you go to the Premium Outlet and then take bus 24.  For the Florida Mall take bus 111 and the trip is about 30 minutes.

A Lynx bus trip is about $2 a person or you can buy a day pass for about $4.50.  The taxi is easiest and less confusing and takes a shorter time but the bus is certainly the cheapest way to go so you can spend more once you get there.  For complete information about the Lynx service you can go to tripadvisor.com and then search Orlando:Bus Services from/to Walt Disney World.  Have a great shopping day!
